This week’s post came to £432 thanks to a Crawley reader who donated £50, two Dagenham supporters who sent in £22 and the other supporters whose standing orders took us over the target by £105. All in all we raised £3,605 in July to keep us afloat for another campaigning month.
The News from Nowhere bookshop in Liverpool has re-opened and we’ve gained two new readers this week which all helps. But most of our public work is still suspended because of the emergency regulations. That’s why the struggle to win new readers to sustain the fighting fund is vital to keeping our presses rolling throughout the year.
