Special building fund appeal

The special building fund appeal kicked off with the £143 raised at our Party Day reception in July. A veteran Manchester reader sent in a welcome £50 contribution and that along with other donations has push the appeal up to £1,357.

Much of that has already been spent on rubbish removal and the building work that began last week. The scaffolding is up and the work to take down and reset the back wall is proceeding.

Our target is £10,000 to restore the two-story extension wall, renovate three rooms and clear the yard. This is crucial to maintain the print rooms and the Party Centre now and for the future.
