No mercy for NHS warns Cameron

MARK BRITNELL, a member of Prime Minister Cameron’s team of advisers, let the cat out of the bag on the Con-Dem planned health reforms. Last week it was reported in a blog that Britnell told a New York conference of private healthcare executives: “In future, the NHS will be a state insurance provider not a state deliverer.”

Trades Councils speak out

THE NATIONAL Trades Council conference took place on Saturday, 14th May in Peterborough Town Hall. It was a very inspiring conference, both young and elderly making their contributions and reports of their local councils in their fight against the cuts.

Mind control

THOUSANDS of disabled people, along with their friends and supporters came from all over the country to London to protest at the cuts to their services and benefits last Wednesday. For many of them it was an ordeal. Our public transport system is not friendly to the disabled and it required a lot more effort for them to get to London that it would for most people. But they were so angry at what is being done to them they wanted to tell the world.
