The Fighting Fund

This week’s post brought £464 for the last week of the August fighting fund thanks to supporters up and down the country, including the East Anglian comrade who sent in £34, the Devon reader who topped up his subscription renewal with an extra £20 and an old friend in Deal who gave us a tenner. The grand total for August was £3,389 just £111 short of our target!

Well the September appeal has begun so let’s see if we can make up the shortfall. We need to raise £3,500 a month to guarantee the survival of the New Worker. The fighting fund underwrites all our work for the paper and within the mass movement. All donations, big or small, keep us going and have done so for over 40 years. With Korea under blockade and facing renewed US aggression campaigning for peace and fighting for socialism is as crucial today as it was back in the days of the Korean war.

We need to get the New Worker into the factories, offices and housing estates and if you agree you can help by sending a donation to
