The Weekly paper of the New Communist Party of Britain
Week commencing 3rd November 2017
This week’s donations added up to £513, which pushed the fighting fund needle up to £2.655, thanks to readers all over the country including an AKEL supporter in London who sent in £100 and a member of the Korean Friendship Association who gave us a tenner. We now have literally just a few days to raise £845 to hit our £3,500 target in October.
We rely entirely on our readers to keep the New Worker’s presses rolling, pay the printers’ wages and keep our suppliers sweet for another month. We’ve done it for over 40 years but only through the sacrifice and struggle of supporters committed to seeing the survival of our communist weekly newspaper. In 1977 the New Worker was an eight-pager. Now we have a 12-page colour tabloid that continues to report the struggles on the industrial and political front at home and overseas.
The fight for peace and socialism never eases up, and our weekly communist paper has a crucial part to play in the struggles to come. You can show your support by keeping up the cash flow to the New Worker. All contributions, big or small, count. Please send your donations to:
