The New Worker Christmas appeal bagged another £613 this week. Special thanks goes to Southall NCP which raised £40 for the New Worker and the comrades who collected £36 for the fighting fund at last Sunday’s London day school. Other donations included £50 from a supporter from Wickford in Essex and £20 from a reader in Chigwell. We got £4 from a Carlisle reader, £3 from a Brixton pensioner and a Burnley friend donated a tenner “to keep the fight going against inequality and oppression”.
The running total now stands at £1,613. That leaves us with £1,887 to raise by the end of December to hit our £3,500 monthly target.
We’ve only got one more campaigning week until the Christmas shut-down so spare a card and some cash for our communist paper that keeps up the fight for peace and socialism every week.
