Syrian militia join with Kurds

SYRIAN people’s militia fighters have joined Kurdish defenders in Afrin, the capital of the Kurdish-run province in northern Syria, that has been fending off Turkish aggression for the last four weeks or so. The Kremlin has called for respect for Syria’s sovereignty and its territorial integrity whilst Iranian and Russian diplomats work behind the scenes to try and prevent a major escalation in the Syrian conflict

Stop the witch-hunt

TONY Greenstein’s expulsion from the Labour Party last week was an inevitable conclusion of the Blairite campaign that’s targeted prominent Labour supporters of the Palestinians as so-called “anti-Semites”. The allegations of ‘anti-Semitism’ in the Labour Party have nothing to do with anti-Semitism and everything to do with opposition to the racist creed of Zionism, and support for the Palestinians

Putting someone who is Jewish in the same category as Adolf Hitler is a trick perhaps only the most brazen Blairites and Zionists can do. Still, it’s not surprising. It does, after all, come from the right-wing clique that dominates the Labour Party bureaucracy which thinks that the charges against the zionist Jewish Labour Movement’s former Chair Jeremy Newmark of having defrauded a Jewish charity of thousands of pounds are a ‘private’ matter.
