THE NEW WORKER

The Weekly paper of the New Communist Party of Britain
Week commencing 23rd February 2018

The Fighting Fund

The postbag was heaving this week boosted by a very generous gift of £500 from a reader in the former Soviet Union, £25 from an Essex supporter and a tenner from a Carlisle reader. It all added up to £1,015 which left the grand total for the February fighting fund at £2,794. Sadly this meant we were £706 short of our target for the month — which was due to the bad weather in a short campaigning month. Still we’re still here — just about and we’ve got a full March month to more than make up for it

Only socialism can end this era of suffering and oppression. Only a mass movement led by the workers can build a better tomorrow. The New Worker is part of the struggle to come and your donations are vital to ensure that our communist voice is heard loud and clear. The fighting fund helps keep our print shop going, pay our full-timers and keep our suppliers sweet for another month. Every pound helps us maintain and expand the readership of our communist weekly in the estates, factories and offices throughout Britain. Please send your contribution to the struggle for peace and socialism to the New Worker Fund, PO Box 73, London SW11 2PQ. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to the New Worker.
