The Christmas appeal kicked off with 1,656 in the pot including the £1,000 donated by Richmond & Kingston comrades plus £35 from Southall NCP, £110 raised at last weekend’s weekend school in London and £10 from a veteran supporter in Wickford. We now need to raise £1,844 by the end of December to hit our £3,500 target for the month and we’ve only got one more campaigning week to do it! Next week’s New Worker is the last until the New Year. But time doesn’t stand still for our suppliers or our full-timers who all have to be paid over the holiday season. So think of us when yourprepare your gifts and remember the fund over the break.
Every donation, big or small, counts in the struggle to keep the New Worker going. Every time you order a NCP pen or New Worker calendar it helps the fund as well. Check out the ads inside this week’s paper.
