The Fighting Fund

Supporters raised £415 for the fighting fund this week which pushed the running total to £1,653. This leaves us with a colossal £1,847 to raise by the end of March to reach our target for the month. Daunting but not impossible. That’s the communist way and that’s what we’ve got to do to keep our communist press rolling. Now if you like what you read and you want to strengthen the movement for peace and socialism there’s no better thing to do than make a greater financial sacrifice for the New Worker.

Our weekly, like virtually all the rest, costs much more to print than it costs to buy. Bourgeois papers rely on adverts to keep them going. They are all, essentially, advertising magazines. We don’t get any of that revenue so we have to rely on our supporters to keep us going. Every pound helps. Every time you order a pamphlet or an NCP pen it helps the fund.
