THE PRIME Minister has called for talks with Jeremy Corbyn in yet another attempt to end the Brexit crisis that has torn the House of Commons apart over the last few months. But the offer, which has been accepted by the Labour leader, has enraged some Tory backbenchers and two junior ministers have resigned in protest.

Honda workers march for jobs

THOUSANDS of Honda workers and their families along with trade unionists from across the country marched and rallied in Swindon last Saturday to protest and fight against the proposed closure of the Honda plant in the Wiltshire town. They called on the Japanese company to continue production at the Swindon plant that employs over 3,500 workers.

THE first round of Ukraine’s presidential elections has put a well-known TV comic streets ahead of the country’s current leader, Petro Poroshenko. What will happen when the two face off in the final poll is another matter.

We always say that bourgeois elections, when they are held, are used so that the smallest number of people can manipulate the largest number of votes. Ukraine is no exception.
