THE NEW WORKER

The Weekly paper of the New Communist Party of Britain
Week commencing 19th April 2019

The Fighting Fund

Easter sunshine boosted our fortunes last week with £723 in the bag and promises of more to come. Many thanks to all including the Leicester reader who sent in a fiver and the retired East London teacher who gave us a tenner. A Carlisle supporter donated £13 and a London comrade collected £6 for the fighting fund. The running total for April now stands at £1,975. We want to collect another £1,525 to hit our £3,500 target by the end of the month.

Our work revolves around maintaining and increasing the readership of the New Worker. It costs time and money and we’re short of both. While volunteers have to be within easy travelling distance of our London print shop there’s no geographical limit to our financial benefactors! Every time you order a pamphlet or an NCP pen it helps the fund. Every pound you give keeps our presses rolling. We rely entirely on our readers to keep our communist weekly going and every penny we get helps to guarantee the next issue of the New Worker.
