This week’s bumper postbag totalled £1,320. The running total for October is now £2,795 and the fighting fund needs £705 by the end of the month to hit our £3,500 target. Many thanks to all the supporters who helped us on our way including the south London veteran who sent in a stomping £1,000 and the two Dagenham comrades who donated £100. A Cornish reader posted £15 and an old friend in Carlisle gave us a fiver.
