This week’s post brought in £540 which pushes the March appeal to £2,861. We now need £639 to hit the £3,500 target for the month and we’ve got one more campaigning week to do it. It’s not easy under the emergency that’s hit our public efforts and cut our sales with the closure of libraries, bookshops and labour movement social clubs throughout the country. But one of our West Country comrades is now putting aside the money he usually spent on travel to meetings for us. So far it’s come to £51.50 which was a welcome boost to this week’s total.
