The post we collected this week came to £510 which included £100 from a veteran communist in Sandhurst, a fiver from a Liverpool reader and another from a supporter in Stretton. So the last week of the May appeal pushed the fighting fund to £3,510 a tenner over our monthly target.
We start again in June which has kicked off with anger in the streets of America at the murder of George Floyd by killer cops in Minneapolis and fear at home as the Johnson government tries to force kids back to school despite the risk of infection from the coronavirus.
