This week’s postbag brought in £803 which went a long way but sadly not long enough to hit our target for September. We closed the fighting fund this week with £3,017 in the pot – £483 short of our £3,500 fighting fund monthly target. But there’s always a next time so let’s see if we can catch up in October.
The New Worker comes out every week through the valiant efforts of the comrades who write the copy and print and distribute our communist paper. But none of this would happen without the efforts of the legion of supporters up and down the country whose contributions and fund-raising efforts guarantee the production in the first place.
These are unusual times. If nothing else the coronavirus crisis has demonstrated the superiority of the socialist system and the total inability of the capitalist system to deal with a major health crisis. Let’s the message out now!
