This week’s postbag brought £720 to the fighting fund – a good start to the May appeal. A Southall supporter sent in £100 and a Carlisle friend gave £40. A regular Essex contributor posted £20 while PayPal donations included £20.00 from a comrade in Hereford and £40.00 from another in Staffordshire. We now need £2,780 to hit our target for the month.
As we write Palestinians are defying Zionist bombs and bullets to demand basic rights and an end to the brutal occupation that has continued for decades with the full support of US-led imperialism. We stand side by side with the Palestinian demands for justice and the right of return for all the refugees driven out by the Zionist settlers. That’s one of the reasons we need to keep going.
