Palestinian prisoners punished for bid for freedom

AN ISRAELI occupation court has sentenced six Palestinian prisoners, known as the heroes of the ‘Freedom Tunnel’, to an additional five years and eight months imprisonment for attempting to escape from Israel’s high-security prison in Gilboa in September 2021. They were recaptured during an Israeli manhunt that ended their bid for freedom.
