Week 2 of the June appeal brought in £450 thanks to comrades bankers’ orders that underwrite so much of our fund-raising work and a Deal supporter who gave us £20 plus a book for our Party library. We also received £19.17 from a Colchester reader and a tenner from another in Manchester.
Every pound helps us in the work to spread the communist word in the factories, offices and on the street throughout the country. There is a way out of the crisis and that way is socialism. There is an answer to endless slumps and wars that get nearer and nearer to our shores as the days go by. The communist alternative must be put back on the working class agenda and it’s down to us and those who work with us in the common struggle for peace and socialism to make sure it does.
