The July fund closed with £1,100 in the bag. The grand total for the month was £3,018 so we missed our target by £482.
The August appeal begins now and hopefully we’ll do better despite the heat-wave. The Sun may have parched most of the country but it hasn’t stopped the wave of strikes sweeping Britain as the fight-back for more pay begins. The warmongers are clamouring for confrontation with Russia and China. But the fight for a just and lasting peace in Ukraine goes on as communists campaign in solidarity with the people of the Donbas battling to drive the Ukrainian fascists out of their land.
