REPORTS OF NAZI CRIMES IN UKRAINE

UKRAINIAN forces smashed through the Russian lines in the Kharkov region last week seizing swathes of territory before being forced to halt when the Russians rallied along the Oskol river. Russian troops and their Donbas allies are counter-attacking on the Donetsk front while waves of Russian missiles are hitting strategic targets cutting off the power supply in eastern Ukraine.

Wages and jobs

THERE IS mixed news about wages and jobs in the UK. It appears that that post-pandemic boom is about to end. The unemployment figure in the three months to July was 3.6 per cent, the lowest on record since 1974. Rises in regular pay are also failing to keep up with rising living costs.
