This week’s postbag brought in £353 which means we hit our November target with a little to spare thanks to a Cornish reader who sent in £20, a dedicated supporter in Essex who gave us £40 and a number of bankers’ orders from old friends that pay in at the end of the month. All in all the November appeal raised £3,567 for the New Worker.
The fighting fund for the festive season begins now so let’s join in the spirit of giving to the needy by boosting the coffers of our communist paper. We need all the help we can get to see us through the winter break and prepare for another year of struggle.
The stakes are high. Workers are fighting for higher pay. Imperialist sanctions on Russia have backfired. NATO’s proxy war in Ukraine threatens to plunge the whole of Europe into chaos as we face a winter of food shortages and colossal energy bills.
