The March appeal kicks off with £550 in the bag thanks to a Midlands reader who gave us £50, a Kirkcaldy supporter who made a £100 donation and a supporter in Cornwall who sent in a score. We now need to raise £2,950 to hit our target for the month. We hope to get nearer our old deadlines next week while we struggle to keep our suppliers happy.
Running a communist weekly is never easy at the best of times. We need a constant and generous flow of money to guarantee our survival.
