Two weeks into the March appeal and the fighting fund now stands at £1,160 thanks to the bankers’ orders and a Scottish reader who sent in £40 and an Essex supporter who gave us £120.We’ve now got two fund-raising weeks to collect the £2,340 needed to hit our target for the end of the financial year.
While the leaders of People’s China launch initiatives to end the war in Ukraine and boost the economies of the Global South all the imperialists can offer working people is austerity, oppression and war. Our paper, the New Worker, has fought for peace and socialism from the day it first came out in 1977. We will keep up the fight as long as we can. We can do it – but only with your help.
We need a constant and generous flow of money to guarantee our survival.
