The Weekly paper of the New Communist Party of Britain
Week commencing 31st March 2023
The Weekly paper of the New Communist Party of Britain
The third week of the March appeal brought in £706 for the fighting fund pushing the running total up to £1,866 but leaving us with a massive £1,634 to find to hit our target for the month. But we will have to do our best and struggle to keep the money flowing in to ensure the continued survival of our communist weekly.
The capitalist world is in deep crisis. You see it wherever you turn – from the crime-ridden streets of the United States and Western Europe to the shanty-towns in the immense regions in Africa, Asia and Latin America still controlled by American lackeys.
All the capitalist world can offer working people is a life-time of drudgery in a pressure-driven factory, office or dingy sweat-shop or a bread-line existence on paltry state hand-outs where the only palliative comes from the bottle or the illicit use of Class A drugs. Another world is, of course, possible. But it’s not the “American Dream” or the European Union. It’s the world being built in the people’s democracies of Asia and the Caribbean.
Our paper, the New Worker, is a window to that world which is working for a better tomorrow for everyone. Help us keep up the fight for peace and socialism by supporting the fighting fund. All donations, big or small, keep our presses rolling. Please send your donation to: New Worker Fund, PO Box 73, London SW11 2PQ.
Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to the ‘New Worker’. To save a stamp you can also use your credit or debit card to send contributions here: http://newworker.org/ncpcentral/fightingfund.html
