The Weekly paper of the New Communist Party of Britain

The Fighting Fund

New Worker supporters raised £570 for the fighting fund pushing the August appeal up to £2,460. We now need £1,040 to hit our £3,500 target and we’ve got another seven campaigning days to do it.

We are the only communist weekly in Britain and we survive only through the struggle and sacrifice of our supporters like a long-standing reader in Deal who donated £100, the Dagenham reader who gave us £45 and the Notts supporter who sent in £25.

Running a communist journal is an expensive business. The fighting fund subsidises the cover price to make the New Worker affordable on the street. But the cost of paper, ink and general supplies is rising in line with inflation. That’s why we need more and more financial support to keep our paper going and to reach out to a wider audience across the country.

All donations, big or small, count. Please send yours to: New Worker Fund, PO Box 73, London SW11 2PQ. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to the ‘New Worker’. To save a stamp you can also use your credit or debit card to send contributions here:
