Friends and supporters raised £649 for the fighting fund last week, pushing the needle up to £1,840. We now need £1,660 to hit our target for November. We’ve got one more week to do it!
Getting the New Worker back on the street takes time and effort. And above all it takes time money to buy the paper and ink, pay our suppliers and maintain our electronic press – time and money that can only come from our dedicated supporters prepared to make the sacrifices needed to keep up the fight for peace and socialism.
The New Worker will soon be taking its traditional fortnightly winter break. The last issue of the Old Year will be published on 22nd December. The first issue of the New Year will come out on Friday 12th January. So as we enter the festive season, please consider making an extra special gift to the only communist weekly in the country. We rely entirely on our readers to keep going.
