The January fighting fund kicks off with £896 in the bag as supporters respond to our urgent appeal for financial support. A Southall comrade sent in £300 and another from Dagenham donated £110. An Essex veteran gave £50, a Devon supporter sent us £16 and a Welsh reader gave us a score. We now need £2,604 to hit our target for the month.
While Starmer turns his back on the peace movement, the winds of war are spreading across the Middle East and the anti-war campaign and the demand to end the carnage in Gaza grows and grows. The New Worker is fighting for a world without exploitation. A world in which the will of the masses, the workers, the toilers, the people who work in the factories and farms, is carried out.
