The Weekly paper of the New Communist Party of Britain
The fighting fund rose by a further £452 this week pushing the running total to £1,348. This leaves us with £2,152 to raise by the end of January to hit our £3,500 target for the month. And we certainly do need it to guarantee the survival of our press and to build the circulation of the New Worker that will enable us to reach out to the millions now demanding an end to the war in Gaza.
Peace, as always is the paramount issue for the class. Whether it’s the Middle East, Ukraine or the Korean peninsula the enemy is global imperialism – led, as always, by the USA. Willing tools, such as the Zionists, or indeed the Sunak government, can always be counted on to do the bidding of Washington. But mass pressure on the street and in the labour movement can stop them.
We are fighting for a socialist society where there are no slums, poverty or racism. A society where there are no classes, no exploiters, no bigotry and no war. A new and better world – the world Marx and Engels predicted, and a world that will surely come to pass. It is already being built in the socialist countries of today. It is being fought for in every continent and every country.
Keep up the fight for peace and socialism and above all keep our presses rolling by sending your donation to: New Worker Fund, PO Box 73, London SW11 2PQ. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to the ‘New Worker’
