The Weekly paper of the New Communist Party of Britain

The Fighting Fund

On the third lap of the March appeal we collected £690 thanks to a veteran Essex supporter who sent in £50, a Dagenham comrade who brought in £70 and another from Hereford who gave us a tenner. We’ve raised £2,008 this month. We need £1,492 to hit our target for the month.

We’re going to out this weekend in London and all over the country demanding an end to the carnage in Gaza and justice for the Palestinian Arabs. This is what we stand for and what we’ve always stood for since the New Worker first hit the streets in 1977.

We’ve always taken the principled stand supporting the anti-war movement in Britain and national liberation movements all over the world. But we can only do it with your help. We rely entirely on our readers to keep our presses going. Running a communist weekly is never easy at the best of times. We need a constant and generous flow of money to guarantee our survival. And if you think the New Worker is worth it – and you must do if you’re reading this column – please support the fighting fund.

Please send your donations, big or small, they all count, to: New Worker Fund, PO Box 73, London SW11 2PQ. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to the ‘New Worker’
