New Worker Banner

The Weekly paper of the New Communist Party of Britain

The Fighting Fund

The fighting fund went up another notch this week with £600 in the bag thanks to supporters like the Southall comrade who sent in £200 in thanks for our efforts to maintain Britain’s only communist weekly. The June appeal now stands at £2,291. We need £1,209 to hit our target for the month.

While the mainstream politicians and left posers alike strut across the electoral arena with their false promises and phoney patriotism, at least one from their ranks has broken ranks to challenge the bourgeois consensus in support of NATO’s proxy war in Ukraine. But workers can never rely on the bourgeoisie to defend their interests and Nigel Farage is no friend of the working class. We have our own agenda. We must have our own programme. The fight to end the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, the campaigns in solidarity with the people of the Donbas and the Palestinian Arabs are being fought on the streets of Britain in a battle of ideas that the New Worker has been in since our foundation in 1977.

Help us get the message across and build the communist movement in Britain. Make sure that the communist voice is heard every week in every factory, office and neighbourhood across the country by supporting the fighting fund. Your contribution, big or small, counts. Join us in the fight for peace and socialism by sending in your donations to the New Worker fund. All donations help keep our presses rolling. Please send yours to: New Worker Fund, PO Box 73, London SW11 2PQ. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to the ‘New Worker’.
