Well we only needed £74 to hit our target for August and we did it this week thanks to supporters in north Wales and Essex. All other donations will now be credited to the September appeal, which starts now. It’s the same target – £3,500, and the same objective – to keep our electronic press rolling to put the communist point of view back on the street.

Running a communist weekly is never easy at the best of times. We need a constant and generous flow of money to guarantee our survival and every pound helps keep the New Worker on the road. Don’t forget – we are the only communist weekly in Britain.

The ruling class want us to think there is no alternative to their rule or their worthless philosophy of consumerism which is a game that only the rich can play. They want to divert us with the racist rants of the fascists, the sham politics of the third-rate social-democrats, and the usual drink and drugs that are symptoms of bourgeois decadence.

There is a way out of the crisis but it’s not the way of the charlatans who pose as ‘revolutionaries’ but preach the same old clap-trap that has been rejected time and time again by the working class. We rely entirely on our supporters to keep us going. Get the New Worker out! Put the case for communism back on the streets!
