It’s been a hectic week in the print shop. A key comrade, a volunteer who operates the computer program that lays-out the paper, sadly fell ill. Fortunately Ray, our veteran printer, came out of retirement to lend a hand but we lost a day’s production and that’s why your paper arrives a day later than usual on your doorstep. Still we’re still here and we still need help – volunteers to keep our press going and donations to keep our suppliers happy and guarantee the continued production of the New Worker.
The September appeal started this week with £400 in the pot and £3,100 to raise to hit our target by the end of the month.
We rely entirely on our supporters to keep our presses rolling. We always have done and with your help we’ve put the communist voice back on the street since 1977. Help us on our way.
