This week’s post-bag brought in another £500. The running total for September now stands at £3,346 and we need £154 to hit our target for the month.
Running a communist weekly is never easy at the best of times. We need a constant and generous flow of money to guarantee our survival. The good news is that we’re getting more inquiries and more support for our communist voice on the street. The ruling class want us to think there is no alternative to their rule or their philosophy of consumerism which is a game that only the rich can play. They want to divert us with the sham democracy of the capitalists and landlords, bogus “identity” politics and the usual drink and drugs that are symptoms of their decadence. The barren road of the Starmerites goes in the same direction.
We, however, fight for a better tomorrow. We stand for peace and socialism. We have to ensure that the communist voice is heard in the struggle that continues in every factory, office, college and housing estate throughout the land and we can only do that with your help.
