The Weekly paper of the New Communist Party of Britain
Week commencing 4th October 2024
The Weekly paper of the New Communist Party of Britain
The September fighting fund appeal closed last week with last minute donations that pushed us just over the finishing line with a few pounds to spare. The total for the month came to £3,506 thanks to a number of regular contributors including a veteran communist in Essex, which means we start the October campaign with a clean slate for a change. We need to raise £3,500 a month to keep the New Worker on the road. It’s the only communist weekly in the country. We need your help.
The mainstream politicians and left posers alike that strut across the electoral arena with their false promises and phoney patriotism are never short of money. The ruling class make sure of that. But we can only rely on our readers to keep us going. We have our own agenda and it’s not the one of the bourgeoisie. We must have our own programme. The fight to end the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, the campaigns in solidarity with the people of the Donbas and the Palestinian Arabs are being fought on the streets of Britain in a battle of ideas that the New Worker has been in since our foundation in 1977.
Help us get the message across and build the communist movement in Britain. Make sure that the communist voice is heard every week in every factory, office and neighbourhood across the country by supporting the fighting fund. Your contribution, big or small, counts. Join us in the fight for peace and socialism by sending in your donations to the New Worker fund. All donations help keep our presses rolling. Please send yours to: New Worker Fund, PO Box 73, London SW11 2PQ. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to the ‘New Worker’.
