The Fighting Fund

The December appeal started this week. Supporters sent in £828, ranging from £200 from a London comrade to £13 silver collection at a Metropolitan New Worker Supporters Group event a couple of weeks ago. “Every little helps” says a Midlands supporter who donated £50, while other contributions included £100 from a comrade in Hereford; £48 from a Dagenham comrade and £30 from a pillar of the fighting fund who lives in Essex.

The fighting fund helps keep our communist press going. Every month we try to raise the £3,500 needed to hit our target and guarantee the continuation of the only communist weekly in Britain.

The imperialists and their Zionist and feudal Arab lackeys are rejoicing at the fall of the Syrian Arab Republic. They don’t care about the death of innocent civilians or how many will die from starvation and disease under the hirelings running the puppet regime in Damascus. Everything’s okay as long as they’ve got their palaces and mansions, as long as the big oil corporations can continue robbing the Arab masses of their oil wealth.

But resistance to imperialism is growing – in Palestine, in Syria and in the Donbas, people are fighting for freedom and a better life for all. We are part of that struggle. Help us keep it going.
