This week’s postbag brought in £1004 for the January appeal which ends with a grand total of £2,636 – well short of our £3,500 monthly target. The February fund-raising campaign starts now to hit our target for the month and with a bit of luck make up for last month’s short-fall.
Running a communist weekly is never easy at the best of times. We need a constant and generous flow of money to guarantee our survival. The ruling class want us to think there is no alternative to their rule or their philosophy of consumerism which is a game that only the rich can play. They want to divert us with sectarian, bourgeois or bogus “identity” politics as well the usual drink and drugs that are symptoms of their decadence.
Now, more than ever, we need your help to keep our communist weekly going. It’s the only one in Britain. Your contribution, big or small, counts in the struggle to put the communist answer to the capitalist crisis back on the streets. The future of the world depends on the global communist movement, we’re all part of it. Can you help out?
