The fighting fund was boosted by a very generous contribution of £500 from an old comrade who now lives in eastern Europe and other donations that pushed the weekly total to £940. The April appeal now stands at £1,377 and we need £2,123 to hit our target for the month.
May Day will soon be upon us and comrades and friends in Britain will be joining the millions upon millions in this country across the globe celebrating International Workers Day. But demonstrating the solidarity of the international labour movement is not just for one day. It’s part of the 24/7 struggle needed to end exploitation and oppression here and throughout the rest of the capitalist world.
The New Worker campaigns for a world without exploitation. A world in which the will of the masses, the workers, the toilers, the people who work in the factories, offices and farms, is carried out. A world in which those who produce the entire wealth of the globe get the fruits of their labour.
