The fighting fund shot up by £1,009 this week thanks to electronic transfers, bankers’ orders and PayPal donations from supporters up and down the country. And the grand total for the April appeal, which ended on May Day, came to £3,028 – £472 short of our target but nevertheless a good effort that’s helped us live to fight another day
The May appeal starts now and the target is the usual £3,500. We aim high because we need to – to keep our suppliers happy and to maintain our electronic press that prints the paper you’re reading this on at the moment.
Reform UK is on the march again, and this week’s local and regional elections were bad news for Tories and Labour alike. Workers can expect nothing from the main stream parties – nor from the Faragists for that matter. But the labour movement as a whole can be an instrument of change for the better and we are part of the struggle to make it so. Help us get the message across and build the communist movement in Britain. Make sure that the communist voice is heard every week in every factory, office and neighbourhood across the country by supporting the fighting fund.
