Donations came to £950 this week – up from last week, which is always a good sign! The running total for May now stands at £1,685. Our target, as always, is £3,500 and we’re nearly half-way there thanks to a Suffolk comrade who sent in £500 and a Sheffield supporter who gave us £200, as well as the regular contributors whose fivers and tenners help to keep the fighting fund going through thick and thin.
In the Thirties it was the Jews. These days the Trumpists and Faragists blame the im migrants and asylum-seekers for the slump. Homelessness, unemployment, poverty… no-one knows what the future will bring. What we do know is that nothing will change as long as the gravy-trainers run our unions and the old gang hold court in Parliament.
There is an answer to the crisis. Socialism. Help us put the communist alternative back on the agenda and build the communist movement here in Britain. Get the message across. Make sure that the communist voice is heard every week in every factory, office and neighbourhood across the country by supporting the fighting fund.
