Supporters gave £739 to the fighting fund this week. Down from last week but we mustn’t grumble – the running total for May now stands at £2,424, which means we need just over £1,000 to hit our target by the end of the month.
Many thanks to all who helped us on our way, including the two Dagenham comrades who gave us £100 and the Gloucester supporter who sent in £24. A Hull friend sent in a tenner, a regular contributor from Essex gave us a score and £25 was collected at a meeting of the NCP’s Metropolitan Cell & Supporters Group this week.
Big or small, every pound counts in the battle to keep the New Worker going. There are plenty who’d like to see the back of us amongst the fake lefters, posers and turncoats within the labour movement who serve the hidden hand of the bourgeoisie that works tirelessly to confuse, divide and split any genuine working class movement. But with your help we fight on. There is an answer to the crisis. Help us put the communist alternative back on the agenda and build the communist movement here in Britain. We are the only communist weekly in the country. Keep our presses rolling!
