The fighting fund has kicked off with £1,002 in the bag thanks to a very gen erous donation of £500 from a comrade in Chigwell and £100 from an AKEL supporter in London. We now need to raise £2,498 by the end of June to hit our target for the month.
Getting the New Worker out on the street is a vital part in the struggle to re build the communist movement amongst the millions upon millions from the new generation who are demonstrating in support of the Palestinian Arabs. As partisan guns blaze in the battered streets of Gaza and drones and missiles soar over the Middle East in a new war inspired by US imperialism, the struggle against imperialism becomes the first priority of the working class.
Trump and the criminal gangs that follow him in Britain, Europe and Israel think that imperialism is invincible. But the Palestinians and the Iranians have proved them wrong. We’ll be out on the streets supporting them with our paper. That’s where we belong – campaigning for peace, putting the commu nist alternative back on the agenda and building the communist movement.
