The Fighting Fund

Supporters rallied to the cause this week with donations to the fighting fund that came to £977. Many thanks to all the comrades who helped us on our way including those who raised £460 at our foundation day social in London and a supporter in south Wales who gave us £180. A Chigwell pillar of the fund sent us £75; another in Essex gave us £50. An Akel member in north London donated £100 and north of the border we received £72 from another reader in Aberdeen. We’ve now got £1,487 in the bag and our target is, as usual, £3,500 by the end of the month!

We’ve been around a long time. And we’ve only survived through the dermination and sacrifice of readers whose efforts have kept our communist weekly going since 1977. Join us in challenging the myths of the bourgeoisie who want to plunge the world into another global crisis. Poverty, oppression, unemployment, slump and wars. They, and only they, are to blame. But there is an answer to the crisis – socialism. Make sure that it’s heard by supporting the fighting fund and keeping us going.
