This week’s postbag brought in £1,403, pushing the running total for August up to £2,400. Thanks all round to all who’ve helped us on our way, including the Eastbourne reader who gave us £50 and the south London supporter who donated £90.
We now need £1,100 to hit our target for the month and we’ve got just over a week to do it!
Running a communist weekly is never easy at the best of times. We need a constant and generous flow of money to keep our electronic press going. But it’s worth it. We’re the only communist weekly in the country. We support the Palestinians and the people of the Donbas fighting Zionist and fascist terror. We campaign for peace and socialism. Every reader is part of the movement. Every pound helps keep us going. That’s what the fund is for. That’s why we’re here!
