We raised £630 last week thanks to supporters whose bankers’ orders cleared at the end of the month and a Dagenham comrade who topped it up to ensure that we hit our £3,500 target for August.
While the Starmer government sheds crocodile tears over Gaza, racist mobs egged on by the usual suspects threaten immigrants all round the country. Now more than ever, we need to get our socialist message across to the protesters supporting the Palestinians and challenging the demonising of asylum seekers in the mainstream media, and on the streets of our towns and cities up and down the country.
Building the circulation of the New Worker is a vital part of the struggle to put the communist answer to the capitalist crisis back on the workers’ agenda. Every reader is part of this movement.
