The September fighting fund appeal started this week with £481 thanks to supporters in London and other parts of the country, including an East Anglian supporter who PayPalled £38 for us. Our target, as usual, is to raise £3,500 every month to guarantee the continued existence of the New Worker.
Hundreds of thousands marched through the heart of the capital in solidarity with the Palestinians last weekend. The New Worker is part of that fight and part of that struggle is to keep our paper, the only communist weekly in Britain, going. Rayner’s gone. Mandelson’s gone. Let’s hope Starmer will soon follow! In the meantime, we keep up the fight to put the communist answer to the capitalist crisis on the street in the New Worker. Every reader is part of this movement. Every pound helps!
