The October fighting fund starts with £430 in the bag thanks to the comrades whose standing orders prop up much of the work of our New Worker appeal. We also got a tenner from a comrade in Manchester, £50 from an Ipswich support er and a Leicester reader sent in £11. We now need £3,070 to hit our target by the end of the month.
The news that Trump and Putin are going to meet in Budapest next week has raised hopes that an end to the war in Ukraine is now in sight. Whatever happens the New Worker will be standing by the Ukrainian anti-fascists and the people of the Donbas and Crimea who drove the fascists out and chose to join the Russian Federation instead.
Our communist weekly, the only one in the country, stands by all the people of the Global South. The voice of the New Worker is heard up and down the country. Make sure it’s heard on your street by supporting the fighting fund. Our survival depends entirely on you.
