The Fighting Fund

Contributions to the fighting fund went up by £705. Many thanks to all who rallied to the cause including the East Anglian comrade who sent in £200, the Devon supporter who gave us £55 and another from the West Country who donated a welcome £50. The running total for November now stands at £1,973. We need now to raise £1,527 by next weekend to hit our target for the month!

While the rich look forward to their usual round of parties and celebrations over the festive season workers struggle to make ends meet as another year of austerity comes to an end. Poverty, unemployment and homelessness, threats to our hallowed jury system, another miserable budget – this is Britain today. But there is a way out of the crisis! There is the socialist alternative!

The New Worker fights for peace and socialism in Britain and all over the world. Our voice must be heard. You can help by supporting the monthly fighting fund appeal. All donations, big or small, count in the struggle to keep our suppliers sweet and keep our electronic presses rolling. Please send yours to: New Worker Fund, PO Box 73, London SW11 2PQ. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to the ‘New Worker’.
