Saved by the bell – or rather the comrades from Richmond & Kingston who donated £2,000 to the fighting fund last week in memory of Harry Danvers and Peter Geddes. The January appeal ended with a grand total of £3,892 – hitting our £3,500 target with more to spare!
We fight on – and we need to – as our country, led by fools and crooks, staggers on from crisis to crisis. It makes no odds to the rich whose lives are unaffected by rising prices and failing services. They can pay for anything they want from the money they get from the backs of the millions of working people they exploit to make their fortunes. But there is an answer to the crisis – in fact, it’s the only one that works – and that is socialism. Help us put it back on the agenda of the working class by keeping the New Worker going. The voice of the New Worker is heard. Make it a roar!
