Friends and supporters dug deep to help out the fighting fund last week. We got £300 from a comrade in Suffolk, a £100 from a supporter in Wales, £15 from a London reader and £20 from another in Nottingham. All in all we raised £835 for the New Worker pushing the running total for the May appeal to £1,601. Our target, as usual, is £3,500 and we need it by the end of month!
Trump struts the world throwing his weight around threatening to resume fighting in Iran and “regime change” in Cuba while greedy eyes still look on Canada and Greenland as future prey. But imperialists are paper tigers. Their bark is much worse than their bite – as the Americans and their Israeli pawns found out to their cost when they launched their surprise attack on Iran in February.
We stand with freedom-fighters all over the world. We stand for peace and socialism. We struggle to get the communist message out – the answer to the capitalist crisis, the new life in the people’s democracies; an end to imperialist wars and a socialist world of freedom and equality.
